Community Involvement

Advanced Dentistry, LLC is committed to improving the health of our patients and our community.

Dr. Atanase and the members of Advanced Dentistry, LLC feel strongly about community involvement. Community involvement helps us:

  • build caring relationships with other people who live in the Chatham area,
  • strive for excellence within our community,
  • and communicate our passion for our towns through our actions and our words.

We participate in a number of community events in Chatham throughout the year. Here are just some of the organizations and programs we passionately support:

Health Education

Dr. Atanase also promotes healthy habits at health fairs, and she has given talks on a number of health topics, particularly about sleep apnea and sleep health.

Sleep is essential to human health and longevity, but many people living in our area do not get the sleep they need for optimal health. The information Dr. Atanase provides during her talks helps people overcome some sleep problems and live longer.

Family Promise

The teammates at Advanced Dentistry, LLC have participated in several fundraisers benefiting organizations in the Chatham area.

While Dr. Atanase is passionate about all types of community involvement, she is especially passionate about Family Promise, an organization that helps homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence.

Chatham Twig

The Chatham Twig is a branch of The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center.  Dr. Atanase is a proud member. Throughout the years she has helped with different projects and fundraising efforts for Goryeb Children’s Hospital. Morristown Medical Center has been voted the #1 Hospital in NJ for 5 years in a row because of all the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff that work there. Dr. A loves to give back to a hospital that does so much for our community.

Junior League of Summit

Dr. Atanase belongs to Junior League of Summit (JLS), an organization of women that promotes voluntarism, develops the potential of women, and improves communities. She loves to do projects that impact the community and the members alike.

Relay for Life

Dr. Atanase also participates in Relay for Life each year. This event benefits the American Cancer Society, an organization that also works towards helping people live longer.

Held in June, Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraiser. During this event, attendees celebrate cancer survivors, remember those who lost their fight, and pledge to continue fighting cancer.

An uplifting event, Relay for Life brings the entire community together. Dr. Atanase encourages everyone living in Chatham and elsewhere in the nation to find a Relay for Life event near his or her home.
